Powerella is a name that unites evangelical poverty, the strength of humility, and the hidden wisdom woven into walking the path of goodness (cf. Prov 2:20).
Powerella follows in the footsteps of the poor man of Assisi - the poverello Francis. With a single altered letter in translation, the Poor Woman represents "her" (ella), who, in the freedom of spirit, allows the power of His grace to work through her weaknesses.
In her weaknesses, the power of Christ dwells. For His grace is sufficient, that power may be made perfect in weakness (cf. 2 Cor 12:9).
Here, you will find spiritual texts and the life stories of female saints who - across various states of life and vocations, with different temperaments and characters, and with all their human flaws - came to know God's love and chose fidelity unto holiness. Weak yet courageous women, resolute and humble, warriors and homemakers, through their mission in the world they steadfastly carried out the apostolate of an authentic calling.
You will get to know them and grow with them by reading words guided by the Word, but also by walking their paths in your own sneakers.
